During 2026, we’re introducing a new security measure for the Desktop Launcher, to help protect your account based on setting your device as trusted – 2FA, or 2 Factor Authentication.
If you login on the Desktop Launcher from a device that isn't verified, this is what will happen:
- We will send an email with a verification code to the address linked to your account.
- Enter the code to verify your device in the Desktop Launcher
- You will be logged in
Device verification – FAQ
Will I have to verify the same device several times?
No. You will only have to verify a device once.
Will I have to verify my mobile devices?
No. Currently we are only adding this feature to the Desktop Launcher.
I wrote the wrong code
If you enter an invalid code, you will get an error message.
You can resend a verification code – the link is activated after a while to protect our services from spamming requests.
I am not getting the verification email
Please start by checking your spam inbox. If you still can't find the email, please reach out to Customer Support.
I don't have access to the email connected to my Star Stable account
You won't be able to verify your device as you can't verify that you are the owner of the account.
Please reach out to Customer Support.
How many devices am I allowed to use connected to my account?
You can play on an unlimited amount of devices.
Is this feature available in all countries?
We're slowly releasing the Device verification country by country.
Why don’t I get this message?
There could be a few different reasons:
Your device is already marked as trusted in our systems
You have never made a purchase on your account
You’re logging in on the mobile launchers
The feature isn’t launched in your country yet
How do I know if my device is trusted?
If you can log in without being prompted to verify your device, is an indicator that your device is marked as trusted. Currently there is no way for you to see details about your device status without reaching out to our Customer Support.
