What is a Limited Account for minors?
When a player *under the age of consent creates an account in Star Stable, they can start playing immediately with a Limited Account.
A Limited Account allows to play the game with limited access to certain game features, while waiting for the player’s parent or guardian to accept the Star Stable terms and privacy policy.
* Age of consent varies in different countries
Features that are disabled with a Limited Account
While waiting for parental consent these features are locked:
Real-money purchases
In-game chat
Marketing campaigns will not be shown
Sending or receiving mail messages from friends in the in-game inbox
Redeeming codes
Please note: Star Stable has a trial area – to gain access to more game content beyond the trial area, players need to purchase a Star Rider membership for real money.
How to Get Full Access
When a player under the age of consent creates an account, we automatically send an email to the parent's email.
Parent/guardian needs to take these actions:
Open email. The parent/guardian needs to open the email we sent when the player created their account – it is sent to the *parent email the player added during account creation
Review terms. Parent/guardian reviews the Star Stable terms and conditions
Consent to terms. Parent/quardian consents by agreeing to Star Stable’s terms and conditions
Done! The player’s account will be upgraded automatically from limited to a regular account upon guardians consent
Tip: *If your parent didn’t receive the email, you can ask them to check their spam folder
What Happens if Consent Isn't Given?
If we don't receive parental consent within 21 days:
The account will remain a Limited Account with limited access for 21 days.
The player won’t be able to advance beyond the trial area, as this requires a membership that is purchased for real money – purchases for real money are restricted for Limited Accounts.
-
⚠️ Note: If the parent or guardian doesn't approve the Limited Account within 21 days, we have to automatically delete the account.
What Happens if the link in my parent’s email doesn't work?
If the link in your parent’s email used to provide consent shows an error, it probably means that the link has expired.
