We've noticed some recent technical issues, and updating your graphic drivers might help. You can start by checking which drivers you have, then follow the steps below that match your driver type.
Quick links:
First step
If your computer has a dedicated graphics card, be sure the system is using it to accelerate the graphics processing.
You can easily check it in System > Display > Graphics > Default graphics settings
If you have a dedicated NVIDIA Graphics Card, you can also be sure the NVIDIA Control Panel has High-performance NVIDIA processor selected as the preferred graphics processor.
Intel Graphics Card
Method 1: Automatic detection
Use Intel’s automatic detection for drivers:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html
If this does not work, go to method 2.
Method 2: Manually finding the drivers
If you have an integrated Intel graphics card, follow the next steps.
- Open the Device Manager and locate your processor
- Copy the processor name (in this case 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13980HX) and locate it in Intel’s webpage: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/details/processors.html
The search feature at the top right can be very useful for this purpose. - Go to the GPU Specifications section and copy the GPU Name. In this case, Intel® UHD Graphics for 13th Gen Intel® Processors
- Go to the GPU driver download page from intel: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/search.html#sort=%40lastmodifieddt%20descending&f:@tabfilter=[Downloads]&f:@stm_10385_en=[Graphics] and search for the copied GPU Name
- Download and install the latest available drivers.
NVIDIA Graphics Card
Method 1: Automatic detection
Use NVIDIA’s automatic detection for drivers:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/software/nvidia-app-enterprise/
If this doesn't work, you can go to method 2.
Method 2: Manually finding the drivers
- Open the Device Manager and locate the NVIDIA GPU under Display Adapters and note it. In this example, it's the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU.
- Go to https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/ and fill in the information based on your GPU. In this case, it will look like this:
- Click Find. You should now see a page with the driver found.
- Click View. After that, select Download and install the drivers.
AMD Graphics Card
You can follow the most updated way to find your AMD Graphics driver on their webpage: https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/faqs/GPU-56.html
We hope these steps helped you. If you are still experiencing issues even after updating your drivers, you can reach out to our Customer Support for further guidance.
If everything else fails
The last resort if you are stuck with an old driver is to try the OpenCL™, OpenGL®, and Vulkan® Compatibility Pack from Microsoft. We recommend trying the previous points (based on your graphics card) before attempting this approach. We can't promise that this will work if you have an old graphics card.
