Chat moderation: Our in-game chat can only be accessed if an account is verified. The chat is moderated by an AI system that will block words and sentences it has been trained to deem inappropriate. Human moderators train the AI every week to keep the chat up to date with what is deemed appropriate and what is not.
- If you wish that your minor does not have access to chat, you can contact our Customer Support team, and we will help you turn it off.
Reporting players: Players can report other players not following our chat rules. Reported players will be reviewed, and we will take necessary action if our chat rules are not followed. The most common is a temporary chat ban, but if we see continued behavior of breaking the rules, we will issue a permanent chat ban. To report players, you can reach out to our Customer Support. It helps us greatly if we receive the reported player’s in-game name, which server it happened on, and the time it happened.
- Players in the USA, Russia, Ukraine, Sweden, and Australia, can create reports in-game by using Report a Player. Our goal is to roll this out to more regions.
Ignore players: If a player feels uncomfortable with another player, they can choose to put them on an ignore list. This means that the player no longer will see what the ignored player writes in chat, see them online or in-game. The ignored player won’t receive a message that they have been ignored.
Transaction review: We can help you if something goes wrong with your purchase and, if requested, provide refunds. When logged in to your account on the website, you can see a history of purchases made to our game over the past 2 years. If you wish to see all purchases made for our game, you can contact Customer Support, who will provide you with the list.
- We can not provide refunds for purchases made through the App Store. Customers must request them through the App Store’s customer support.
- We do not save any payment information for the convenience of purchase.
To ensure the safety of our players both in-game and online, we greatly appreciate your help in guiding them on how to stay safe. Here are a few tips to help keep your child safe on the internet:
- Make sure your child is aware of our chat rules. They can be found here.
- As you ask them what they did in school that day, talk to your child about what they do online. Be curious and ask questions.
- Ensure that your child knows that a password should never be shared, not even with best friends.
- Your email and Star Stable account passwords should be different and complex.
- Talk to your child about the importance of never sharing any personal details in the chat, including your name, age, payment details, where you live, etc.
- To keep the account safe, your child should always log out if they leave the device they play on unattended.
- Guide your child about what they can do when they meet someone online who is not behaving correctly or making them uncomfortable. Show them how to ignore a player and help them create a report if chat rules have been breached.
- If your child is very young, we advise you to play with your child and manage the account password.
