Requirements to Unlock Epona
To fully unlock access to Epona, you’ll need to complete the following:
- Reach Level 14
- Unlock the Harvest Counties (this includes repairing the bridge near Moorland)
- Complete the Jarlaheim storyline with the Mayor
- Finish quests in Jarlaheim from Jill and Mrs. Drake (the GED representative in the Jarlaheim office)
- Reach Friendly reputation with GED in Jarlaheim (Mrs. Drake)
- This requires completing several daily quests with her once they become available.
⚠️ Note: You may receive a text from Herman even if you haven’t finished some quests (such as Jill’s). However, you won’t be able to open the gates until all requirements are met.

- If you’re struggling to unlock the gate, double-check that you’ve completed as many quests as possible in both Jarlaheim and Jorvik Stables, since these storylines are connected.
